The Netflix Book Tag

Hello everyone!

I saw this book tag going around the blog community and I wanted to give it a go, so here it is…

netflix book tag

  1. Recently watched The last book you finished

I barely finished an audiobook called, The Children of the Land, a memoir by Marcelo Hernandez Castillo. Review to come 🙂

2. Top PicksA book/ books that have been recommended to you based on books you have previously read.

Hmm one of the picks I was recently recommended but it’s not out yet is, My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell. I definitely have this on my TBR.

3. Recently added- The Last book you bought.

I didn’t buy these books per se, my boyfriend gifted them to my as my Valentine’s Day gifts and they are, Sleeping Beauties, The Outsider, & The Bazaar of Bad Dreams. All by Stephen King.

4. Popular on Netflix- Books that everyone knows about ( 2 you’ve read and 2 you have no interest in reading)

The 2 books I’ve read are, Normal People by Sally Rooney & Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. The 2 books I have no interest in reading are, American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins & Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi.

5. Comedies- A funny book.

The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion would have to be a funny book. Would totally recommend it.

6. Dramas- A character who is a drama queen/ king

I have not encountered any dramatic character so sorry I cant say 😦

7. Animated- A book with cartoons on the cover

Tokyo Ghoul: re is mainly the only manga I’ve read that has “cartoons” on the cover. Close enough.

8. Watch it again- A book/ book series that you want to re-read

I would definitely re-read The Secret History by Donna Tartt.

9. Documentaries- A non-fiction book you’d recommend to everyone.

I would totally recommend, In The Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado.

10. Action and adventure- An action packed book

This has to be The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn
