1. Little Darlings by Melanie Golding
This was a good mystery and thriller that talks about folktales of twins. It was a fast pace book and I enjoyed it. This is a four star rating.
2. Evidence of the Affair by Taylor Jenkins Reid
This is like being pen pals with someone who you may not know but who is the only person who gets you. A short story but it’s pact with emotion. You can easily finish it in a day. Fast pace and of course a five star rating.
3. The Real Lolita: The Kidnapping of Sally Horner and the Novel That Scandalized the World by Sarah Weinman
A true crime novel that actually reveals the truth of the famous novel, Lolita. A real girl who was kidnapped and manage to be saved but didn’t get to live that long it’s pretty sad and it’s pretty crazy how this true story was pretty much exploited and is considered a work of art. A moderate pace novel and a four star rating.
4. Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult
A touchy topic that was just written on point. Where is the true justice when you are basically a person of color. This was a great read and I would definitely recommend it. It’s a moderate pace novel but you won’t tell and it’s also a five star rating.
